"Manjhi: The Mountain Man" is a 2015 Indian biographical drama film directed by Ketan Mehta. It tells the real-life story of Dashrath Manjhi (also spelled Dashrath Manjhi or Manjhi), a laborer from Gehlaur village in Bihar who single-handedly carved a path through a rocky ridge over 22 years to shorten the distance between his village and nearby towns after his wife’s death.
