Kun's step-sister, Mimi, bounced up and down excitedly. "And I get to decorate the living room with my favorite colors!"
His stepdad, Mr. Kun, put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We'll make lots of new memories here, I promise. And you'll have your own room!"
"I'm going to miss our old place," Kun said, his voice barely above a whisper.
